Oh, and one more point...am I the only one who detected some obvious tension with Nadia and Ali? The way she said "Oh, he only gets to work with Ali" sounded very bitter. I really get the feeling some are pissed at Ali. Maybe it's just me but Ali doesn't seem to talk about any of her co-stars anymore except Galen.
Yeah. I got a catty vibe from that too.
Can you blame any of them if the rumors that Ali was the Diva that Ed Scott was working with are true? Especially since ES got fired but Ali just keeps on goin'.

Personally I don't think I can take 10+ weeks of Rafe and Sami bickering and if they continue to keep Sami isolated what was the point of the two pregnancies?

I never thought I'd say this but I love Nadia's attitude in this interview.

Great interview Nelson! How I love Nadia! I'm such a fanboy when it comes to her lol I know she isn't the best actress, but to me she just has a certain charisma and beauty that I can't take my eyes off of. I always compare her to Vanessa Marcil, in that I feel if given the right story, she could completely shine and drive story, like the Brenda character did on GH. I know it in my gut, yet I can't explain it lol Her chemistry with Jay Johnson is great, although I don't know if I would reunite Philip and Chloe. I love the connection that the two characters share, yet i think they should be in separate romances. I like the chemistry between Nadia and SC, but I think for Chloe to be more relatable, they need to play up the fact that she is now this great beauty, and yet most likely still sees herself as the girl who grew up in the orphanage and then became "ghoul girl." If only I wrote the show...

You could tell they were going with Phloe right up through May. Then Lucas/Chloe came out of nowhere.

Yeah, I'm not sure it was out of nowhere. I think it was from Ed Scott, who wanted Morgan to be in a romance with Philip. That's why we got Lucloe, and why we've been stuck with them ever since because apparently DH can't figure out how to undo this mess she's made.
Ed loved Kristen Renton. She made that clear. I believe she said that after she broke up with Max and didn't work for a bit, she sent a letter over the holiday break or something saying that she really loved it there and all. I think Ed pushed for her to return and I think her felt she was more talented. Ed loved Jay too. Jay always mentions how he feels Philip got more layers once Ed came on so I think Ed just wanted to pair Philip and Morgan to benefit both characters so he shoved them together and tosses Chloe into Lucas's orbit because it keeps them out of Philip/Morgan's and Sami/EJ's.

We already have an idea that Nadia was let go (which may be why she has the attitude now too) and now I think that is why Dena is kind of trying things out to see where to put Chloe because she probably didn't plan on having her.

I know it was talked about before, but how do we know that Nadia was going to be let go?

We were told that Galen and Ali are filming their scenes separately from the rest of the cast, to pre-tape stuff for Ali's maternity leave..
Which makes no sense given that her maternity leave starts in mid-Jan. Why isolate the two characters 10 weeks longer than necessary?
I've been wondering the same thing. It seems like they did this way too early. I don't want to watch the Rafe and Sami show for six months.

One of Nelson's comments mentioned it, I believe. I have a cold so my head is all over the place LOL.

It was also obvious onscreen. Chloe was going to Kansas City and that had goodbye with Philip and it was reported that another actress was fired with Renton, who exited the same day Chloe said her goodbyes. I remember when Nelson mentioned it thinking it all made a whole lot of sense.

So far that is just a rumor. Nelson also thought that they brought on Brady to save the character of Chloe on DOOL, but Brady is mainly going to be in scenes with Nicole, so that doesn't make any sense.

IMO, I think one or all of the sorority girls could be in jeopardy. They're not the favorites of the network execs who prefer Ari and Nadia.

With all of the many poor decisions I think the show has made over the years, I can at least say that the returns of JKJ, Nadia, and Ari, and the casting of James Scott have been brilliant.
